Hamilton Workingmen's Club was established in 1955 and in the last eighteen years has experienced significant growth to become one of the Premier Chartered Clubs in New Zealand. The Club provides amenities such as a restaurant, bars, wholesale, gaming lounge, live entertainment and courtesy coaches along with a wide range of activities in an atmosphere where members can meet and enjoy one another’s companionship.

The Executive Committee and Club Manager have clear lines of responsibility when dealing with governance and management issues.

The Club has experienced extensive growth over the last 18 years and now boasts over 7,000 members. Staff now total 75 with a strong emphasis placed on training and providing a quality service.

The Club is a nonprofit organisation but is effectively run as a true commercial operation. While Club facilities are primarily for use by members and Affiliated Club Members, non-members are encouraged to enquire as to venue use for private functions. The Club warmly invites new member enquiries and staff are happy to answer questions from people interested in joining the Club.Hamilton Workingmen's Club was established in 1955 and in the last eighteen years has experienced significant growth to become one of the Premier Chartered Clubs in New Zealand.
